Computer Animation Works Fall 2020

 I definintky struggled quite a bit with this assignment but my attempt was to make a an unsettling creature one might see in a bad dream, horror movie, or during sleep paralysis. I wanted a eerie wave.

 For this assignment I wanted to use One of the characters that I have used in previous assignments. This character was not designed by me but by my brother and he gave me permission to use them. What I like about this creature is that they can do whatever the please and while I did wish I could have made the walk much more animated and like an old Mickey walk I was unable to perfect that before the due date.

 For this project I wanted to do the idea of weight but instead of the weight being really heavy I wanted my character to go for the item then realize it was much lighter than expected. This way the object will then be flung across the room to show not how much weight it has but the weight and is lacking.

 For this project with Halloween coming up soon I wanted to do something festive but light. I decided to go with a ghost Who comes up on screen turns his head and gives a friendly week before turning back and running off. I wanted to do a night sky so that way the figure wouldhave a good contrasting background.

 For this assignment I created gesture drawings using photos of people performing actions like you would in gymnastics. For my flour sack movement I went with an attempted jump but while trying to accomplish this the sack trips over a nail and falls to the group. I wanted to give the effect of weight in the sack.

With this project I wanted to attempt to have the object that is moving appear to have hit a wall then fall down. I wanted to bring out the movement with the colors and patterns in the background.
